I do think it's good advice to keep a largish list of questions to a more advanced stage (doesn't need to be at the point of offer necessarily, but anything before an in-person or equivalent interview shouldn't demand too much time), but after that I think it's a reasonable ask that a company put about as much effort selling themselves as the interviewee does.

If for example you're asking for a take home assignment or a multi-hour technical interview, it's not unreasonable at all to ask for a largish list of questions.
