A JIT Compiler for Forth (solipsys.co.uk)

That's weird.. it says it's a static image, but it isn't? Not very discoverable UI.

[Edit] - At the top of the page, the URL is https://www.solipsys.co.uk/Chartter/1553168445436579840.svg

Which lead me to assume (incorrectly) that the whole page was a giant SVG (Scalable Vector Graphic) file, not an actual web page. Had the URL not ended in .svg, I wouldn't have made that assumption.

Where does it say it's a static image?

It's a statically served SVG file with clickable nodes ... there is no "UI".

I find your comment unhelpful, but that's probably because of a complete mismatch between my knowledge of what it is, and your expectations. I have no idea what your expectations are, and I've learned that trying to deduce things like that is fraught with danger.

Perhaps you could be more explicit about what you think is going wrong, what your expectations are, and why they are not met.

Ugh... the second time that's happened to me on HN this week... I make an edit, and 1 minute later I've somehow gone past the time limit, with more changes to make, and locked out. 8(

I applaud any efforts to route around the damage that is twitter threads. I also applaud any and all native code Forth implementations, especially fast ones. 8)

As usual, some people will hate this visualisation of the Twitter thread.

If you're one of them, click on a node to go to your usual interface.
