As interesting as the surviving fragments of the Disney side of this project are, the greater loss

came as news I was sad to hear for the first time.


I feel the same way. What a loss.



Wow, it's terrible and hard to follow. The conflict seems to involve an academic quarrel with no obvious reason it would get resolved at the anti-climax. Is this a joke?


It reads very much like an English comedy of manners / Oscar Wilde piece, where status and social structure set up the problems and comedy.


Indeed, thats why it ages so poorly. Compare that to something like Brave New World.


You’re reading someone’s summary of Huxley’s synopsis. I think it’s safe to assume that the full screenplay would have given more context.
