Not sure but GDP really is not an end-all be-all indicator that we should be using.

I think Piketty makes a good argument against GDP if you're keen on learning more about the topic.

Bhutan famously uses "Gross National Happiness" instead of GDP as a success metric.


I guess that explains why people are moving from all over the world to Bhutan.
