Strong resemblance to the ESP32-C6[1], which was announced a year ago & never shipped (from what I can see). RISC-V, Wifi6+BT5.0. 5GHz support is new & great to see; let's hope this one materializes!!

Odd naming scheme, aren't the version numbers supposed to increase?


They're not version numbers, they're model numbers. And the C5 seems to have fewer features/peripherals than the C6.
