Not too familiar with Brian's work/writings before this, but based on this tweet thread alone, I can completely understand why employees would be deeply discontented under him.

Even excepting the horrible self-insulating "ethics" espoused, the internal logical contradictions within the thread itself bother me. It doesn't even make sense by its own rules.

Ironically the HN title is extremely appropriate.


What are the contradictions you see?


My favourite was that anybody who publicly complains about the internal workings of the organization should be fired: at this point he should quit by his own rules
