I'm working a new book. It's about ethics and hacking. It's at the
"social research" stage. What I am trying to do is dispel archetypes
and build up a more rounded a idea of how coders and technical people
who develop the technology we all use today see the world, and
themselves - because those values influence and affect the world in
complex ways. Some of that is psychology, observation, probing and
direct invitation. I am interested in deconstructing the parochial
ideas I likely have from books, films, and my own experience in the
computing industry over 30 years. So, for a few months, posting on
groups like HN is kinda "work" for me. :)
