Is it because older people are generally more financially secure and hence are more likely to found startups, successful or not?



Having solid networks to draw on and direct experience in problem spaces also helps.


Don't think it's true. Older people generally have more responsibility to their family, and it's hard for them to give the life they have to found a startup.
