Delivers on the title, well done. Half the time on HN I am disappointed to find that I have mistakenly clicked on an article about some new software framework that has co-opted common words to make me think I’m about to read something more interesting.

I'm going to go on a limb and assume this is a reference to https://rocket.rs/ ?

I don’t want to pick on them specially.

I mean I get that nobody’s going to name their project Just-Another-Disappointment-Son-Get-Used-To-It

That was actually my fear when clicking the link. Although rocket is great if you need to spin up a server in rust

Burning ethanol from syringe and fan from solder iron. Video at the bottom of the page.

Thank you for telling the story of worked and what didn't.

What CAD program are you using?

Fusion 360 mostly

Depending on how important power consumption is, might consider experimenting with fuel injectors and PWM (maybe into a small reservoir to smooth out the flow).

I can help with fixing (some) language errors on the page. Send me an email, my contact information is in the profile.

Integza has a Youtube channel creating several types of rocket engines.

eg: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GzHIrAapiFg

Integza's channel is fun, but he repeatedly does dangerous things. Please don't use him as a learning resource.

There's a great tech ingredients series on homemade rockets and motors -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OiAlUojF3Wo&list=PLzrI14lOlS...

NAR also has some good resource pages -- https://www.nar.org/

Yeah I like his channel. Hi is doing a lot of cool stuff
