Is it better to just give up and let companies do whatever they want, including all harmful negatives?

How do you suppose should making tracking illegal be done then?


I honestly don’t think it’s an issue. If people are paranoid they can control their cookies via their browsers. Getting targeted advertising is a good thing not a bad thing to me (just my opinion).


How do I disable fingerprinting via my browser's cookie settings? How do I disable other tracking technologies?

GDPR applies to all tracking, not just cookies. My browser's settings don't, and can't.
