I’m not defending Apple. I’m rebutting the ridiculous idea that what is printed in the Guardian is what ‘everybody agrees’.

I did not suggest that an article in Guardian means everybody agrees with that. In this case, Apple themselves agree that the iOS platform is closed for many things.

Yes you did. You posted it as evidence of this statement you made:

>> However everyone agrees that Apple created a walled garden which is hard to escape.

Apple agrees it’s closed in some ways. Far from ‘everyone’ thinks it’s hard to escape.

In my opinion, everybody who doesn't think it's hard to escape did not research Apple well enough. I showed you (some) evidence that it's a closed ecosystem. You could show me something suggesting it's not, if you are so sure.

> In my opinion…

This is more honest. It’s just your opinion. Not something ‘everyone agrees’ with.

You are entitled to your opinion. But its a delusion when you think everyone must believe what you do.

You still did not answer why you have a different opinion.

So what? I don’t owe you anything. I’m simply pointing out that you don’t speak for everyone.

Never do you. Apple confirming user restriction should be enough evidence for everyone to understand that their system is a closed ecosystem.

Nobody said it’s not closed.

You claimed everyone agrees it’s hard to leave. That’s simply false.
