I haven't run a Linux GUI in ages (ssh only for the most part). But I always loved what Rasterman did with Enlightenment.
E is still going strong, and if you're looking for a Linux desktop it is worth a look.
Consider applying for YC's Spring batch! Applications are open till Feb 11.
