Different styles to decision making is the way to go. I tend to be more authoritarian within my own teams and consensual when trying to get outcome across teams where I don't have direct control over heads. Generally speaking it's all about trying to get sh*t done and I get frustrated easily when people spend a lot of time in analysis paralysis without realsing it. Death by zoom.
This has recently led me to consider adopting a more algorithmic approach to decision making within my teams based in the impact of each decision.
Basically the question I am asking myself is can I automate lower impact / high frequency decisions making more time to spend on higher impact / low frequency decisions.
