Today I learned: HG Wells' lover Moura Budberg and George Boole's daughter Ethyl Voynich nee Boole (who later married Wilfrid Voynich owner of The Voynich Manuscript) both dated the two people, Sidney Reilly (the inspiration for James Bond) and R. H. Bruce Lockhart, who tried to overthrow Lenin and the Bolsheviks.
There's certain moments in time where paths crossed and lives intertwined, like Mary Shelly's Lake Geneva ghost story telling, or 1913 Vienna, or Budapest Hungary Schools that make me wonder what kind of crazy melting pots happening now there are that will some day be unearthed.
