This seems a bit biased. Security for wire guard is not theoretical. And does it really not support AES-NI?
The lack of tcp options is true but won't affect most users. It does bother me because I use a lot of port forwards to avoid VPN bypass. But what I do is pretty unique. I generally think wire guard is a big step forward.
