It's crazy to me that in all these 80+ comments about FB disinformation there's no mention of the most dramatic recent example of Facebook mass manipulating culture - their admitted systematic censorship of the lab leak theory [0].
They even banned some of the posters. This was done based on the word of a paper in The Lancet that later turned out to have 26 out of 27 authors connected to the lab [1].
Is that insane culture attack not worth a mention, if the topic is disinfo on Facebook? The damage from that particular campaign is hard to measure, but what's not in doubt is that they gaslit the world on the flimsiest of "scientific" bases, and are getting away with it scot free.
