This is a very useful presentation, I design complex industrial landcsapes - up to 100s of hectares, and presentation is a big part of success


Iā€™m trying to think of applications of designing industrial landscapes, and coming up short.

Sounds really interesting. Are you able to give any more insight into what you do exactly?


I'm a landscape architect and ecologist. Mine reinstatement surfaces (and planting design) to blend them back in; screening things that people don't understand (and tend to report when they think they do understand); using plants to split water and pollution sources (many plants only take up certain isotope forms of Oxygen and other elements). Non-piped storm water systems (look up SUDS/SDS). Functional integration of e.g. wastewater treatment ponds with planting.

That's some of what I do, I also make large hugelkulturs along with farm yard planning including dairy platforms (milking units). I enjoy being an LA.
