I'm not sure why you would want them to map 1-1? Might as well just write inline styles surely?

For autocomplete, have you seen https://tailwindcss.com/docs/editor-support ?

I use it in PHPStorm and VSCode and I get class name autocompletion just fine.

Autocompletion works for now, but won't work in the future when JIT mode is default (unless they figure out some trickery).

As a JIT mode user, the 1-1 naming would really be useful now.
