I once bought a broadband router that was marked down ridiculously cheap. It had all the features I wanted, and it was half the price of any of the others. When I got it home, everything was running slowly. After poking around, I discovered that my machines' DNS servers had changed from Time Warner Cable's to IP addresses in China!
