I wanted to share this to ask subject matter experts: how has this prediction held up? I’ve seen recent news of a move to 3nm from Intel. Has this been an overly pessimistic prediction?

Plenty of similar explanations exist. tl;dr "3nm" doesn't mean the transistors or anything else on the chip is actually 3nm.
