Once AI matures to a level where it can write programs, we will have to create newer pastures however.

Pretty sure AI, like fusion, is the technology of the future and always will be.

When we solve the halting problem, AI can write software. Until then, it's Intelligence Augmentation, not AI, and humans will remain in the loop.
