I’m pretty sure this extends into all roads of life. Being able to admit you don’t know something instead of acting like you is a good trait. At the very least people won’t look at you and assume you’re completely full of shit.



I think that just about the whole list applies to people who are more senior in their roles - not just software engineering (of which I know little).
