I’m a person that knows react/next/ts really deeply. But also knows sql/graphql/api pretty well now. (Shout out to postgraphile)

Along with Linux/containers/kube/helm/ansible.

And also how to bring the whole thing up for e2e ci/cd.

But I’m not sure how to move/market myself up to the next level. Either my own startup/good startup or getting past the 200k mark.

It sounds like you're the mythical full-stack developer. My actual advice is that you may be happiest continuing to kick ass as an IC or technical lead. But I think the advice you're looking for is how to move into product management, and my suggestion there would be to find a way to specialize, e.g. go work at any of the awesome companies focusing on linux, edge computing, container/kubernetes orchestration, etc. and make your desire for product responsibilities known.

Just be aware that the type of work you'll need to do as a PM is very different than what you probably do now, and not necessarily more satisfying. The grass is always greener etc.

Hmmm this is much appreciated. I guess I’ve never really known much about the product manager role (I’m also under 30)

But I have certainly got the feeling my time would be more valuable not necessarily coding

Work on the soft skills, and those mentioned in the title, and move into product management.
