Another fun fact is that Quake 1 fits on a floppy if you throw away the single-player maps and most of the character models, leaving like six of the models and a handful of multiplayer maps (wasn't there also six of them in total?). Which was enough for my school, where Q1 thus kept replicating onto computers every time after being deleted by the sysadmins.
