Elixir gives me that feeling of fun I had when first learning Ruby, which is a very rare thing and something I cherish. I still love Ruby, but now I love Elixir too :)
The two languages seem to share a common idea, of making it enjoyable, rather than having a lot in common with each other. They're fundamentally different but somehow feel familiar, which is pretty cool.
I really just need to figure out a viable hobby project for Elixir so I have something to play with.
