It’s a regression bec they’re taking control away from the users, you can decide to not allow 3rd party cookies, but you can’t opt out of FLoC very easily.

It's my understanding (source: https://blog.malwarebytes.com/cybercrime/privacy/2021/04/mil...) that users who opt out of third-party cookies are also opted out of the FLoC trial. I do agree that more granular controls would have been ideal.
