This sounds fantastic and looks like a far more elegant version of WordPress. Can anyone using Ghost give their thoughts on advantages and disadvantages?

We do not, under any circumstances, accept Paypal.

I've used Ghost for years and it is just a pleasure to write articles. A clean interface, WYSIWYG (unlike Wordpress), and fast.

And if you want to create your own theme (or use another), it is essentially Handlebars - easy to use.

I find it an even better writing interface than Medium. Now that they are moving heavily into newsletters, all the better.

I remember when I first saw Ghost 1.0, it was a moment as when I first touched Google Mail. The UI was so slim and the web editor miles ahead of WordPress or any other concurrency.

What's the situation nowadays? I haven't followed the evolution of Ghost in the last eight years.

Ghost is getting more and more complex, maybe at some point we'll need a new platform that will be simple again
