Dont get me started on him. The guy has about 300 million in networth which are all charitable donations. Are you telling me that HE cares about corruption?
He is an opportunistic god peddler who wants to turn this circus in to an attempt at politics and further power play. Some people can see through his shell game, but in the end this wouldnt have solved anything for the country.
"some action is better than no action, when it comes to fixing things"
So, as a (presumably) professional coder, you believe this? I'm inclined to STRONGLY disagree. There's a time for decisiveness of action , sure, but it usually follows once you've established a strategy. "Some act is better than no act" is false without lots of caveats.
Whats wrong with his protest. He is anyway better than the corrupt politicians of India....People supporting cause he raised and they will support these causes even if a corrupt politician raises it... it is not individuals but causes which are supported... I agree he is doing all to gain political gains, but the cause must be supported IMO
@Cherian_Abraham,
So what's wrong with it? All those assets are accountable. Not stashed away in an anonymous bank in Switzerland.
I am more interested to know how much cut did ruling party president and prime minister got in 2G scam and Commonwealth Games scam.
Not sure if the Yogi's protests will be fruitful because his demands are long and unrealistic. Since the black money in Swiss banks is an international issue it takes time to bring back that money.
But there was a country wide agitation a while back demanding for an Ombudsman bill (against corruption) which is now being worked out by a joint committee. It will most likely get passed in the parliament within two months. If it happens it'll be the first major step taken against corruption in the independent India.
