The problem with 'Havana Syndrome' is that it's happened also in other countries, both 'adversary' countries like China, and 'allied' countries like Australia.
The common denominator is that all staff affected were US Government employees. My suspicion is that some equipment or other, common to the affected sites, is causing the work-place injuries.
Naturally the State Department, etc. would downplay this issue, blaming it on external factors, rather than leaving themselves wide-open to very, very expensive class-actions by their own employees.
