Hah, I remember using all the way back to 2007 looking for special types of terminals from Keystone Electronics that were ridiculously hard to find because they were for some ancient 3/16" thick phenolic. Newark ended up having them, but Digikey and Mouser didn't. (I'm also a physics grad)
