10 years later, ships somewhat usable version.


Windows 3.0 was the first usable version, I think. You had multitasking, virtual memory (on the 386, anyway), VGA support, etc. That was less than 5 years later.


No file manager. 3.0 was a barely functional pile of crap.


3.1 then, a couple years later.
