For the metric people, from the actual paper abstract:

It absolutely boggles my mind that a science web site, reporting on a science breakthrough would report the result in such antiquated units. WTF, people?


Or at least they could have added figures in both units. Makes it easier for everyone


I think it’s because the writers have this thing called “people skills”.


Or they are just americans that forgot about the rest of the world or don't even care
