I am glad you drive for acuracy in posts, I did assume that the issue with slowing down was the same as the one they where fined for. I guess I will never know. The point of my posts is conveing a bad user experience, which you seem to have had yourself too, and posted several posts later. So the "sued" is not relevant anymore. we can agree on the slowing down/bad experience aspect :)

If you had a 6s and you noticed a slow down. The answer could be buy a new battery and still be able to run iOS 14 decently when it comes out.

If you had an iPad that was slow. The answer would never be “buy a new battery”.
