In those 5 years you also spent $100,000 on an education so that you could get a job that paid you well? my family actually immigrated as poor people (refugees) 30 years ago from a shit country (moldova) and we're all doing very well in tech now but that doesn't mean i'm blind to the inequalities faced by systematically marginalized people.
