I feel like the hidden that feature that allows you to select and move multiple tabs is severely underrated. I'm a tab hoarder but not disorganised, I tend to work on multiple things at a time and what I'll do is everytime there's more than 4-5 tabs on a specific project, I'll move them to a new window and hide the rest. That way, I'm not bothered by the other subjects in my view and the current "workspace" is still easily manageable.
I fail to see the point of this change this late in the browser history as it would surprise me if powerusers didn't already have their own way of managing tabs
