VBA is the exact same language as VB 6, with the same implementation and the same IDE. It lacks some options (like compiling to an executable and setting some module attributes) and the forms library is different, but the language is identical. Since diverging, VBA has had some small revisions, with VBA 7 adding support for 64-bit pointers.
