Yes! We do this with pretty much all vegetable, fruits, onion peels, egg shells, etc.

Of course some fruits skin don't compost at all. Like watermelon skin, pineapple leaves and skin, but you can definitely cut down on trash.




I've composted all of those things. Even coconut husks. If you're doing it right, it doesn't even take that long.


I don't understand this... They're organic material? And not particularly fat?
