How many pixels do they have, and what's the refresh rate? Also the one he's wearing still looks kinda dorky.

It doesn't works with pixels, it looks like it uses a galvanometer to guide a laser, it also says here [0] that it has a 60Hz frame rate.

The relevant figures for a galvo would be kpps and angular precision.

There's the more generic line pairs per millimeter which is basically how many light and dark lines it can draw per mm.
