Yep. It's almost like the privacy law in the EU was written with no mind paid to how the world of online interactions actually works.

I anticipate enforcement will go about as well as enforcement of drug policy goes in the United States.




The products are not illegal, just the business model. If the businesses can't follow the law, they will get blocked or banned, and their market share will become available for the same or similar product backed by a legal business model. Unlike drugs, where the product itself is illegal.


I don't think it's nearly so clear that the product isn't illegal.
