They have actual shops in Japan, contrary to Amazon. For some reason the 3970X is (slightly) more expensive on Amazon Japan than the Japanese MSRP. I haven't checked the other models, but I wouldn't be surprised if that were the case. I'm not too familiar with the Japanese market (only from researching for the 3970X in the past few days), so I wouldn't recommend anything in particular, but it did show up during my research.
