There's always a trade-off between the expressablity of a programming language and its complexity. I think Lisp may (still) have a slight advantage when it comes to that balance, i.e., it is more accessible for novices. And adding more things to an already complex language like Haskell doesn't sound like changing that balance in the latter's favor.
