2GB would be nice... I got a bulky laptop with 16 GB to be able to run the “full stack” at a previous employer. I had to upgrade it to 24 GB.

i wont buy a dev machine with less than 32gb.

If my stack takes more than three gigabytes to run, I consider it broken and file a bug to trim down the dependencies.
