GDPR fines are up to 4% of global revenue. Do you honestly believe that Google is willing to risk literally Billions of dollars to hold on to your data? It just plain is not worth it so few people ever ask for data to be deleted it costs more to implement the data deletion code than is lost via less good ad targeting.
