OK, so let's get this straight..

Pointing out a grammatical mistake gets lots of upmods.

Pointing out that what people commonly call "ironic", might not actually be ironic, gets downmods.

What's going on?


One's topical. One's incidental, and something everybody's already heard ad nauseum.


So everyone knows "ironic" doesn't work like they use it, but they do it anyway?

As in, No One Cares?
