PayPal handles this pretty nicely, in a way that iOS seems to be happy with.

They have both fields in the HTML, but the password is hidden until the email is submitted. My 1Password iOS integration handles that fine - when I go to the second step, password is there.

Initially I was worried about this two-step process in relation to password managers, but I can’t think of any examples that trip 1Password up.
