If it’s self hosted do you see it as being free software or you’d pay an upfront cost for a license? Would you use a hosted web application if none of your data was uploaded?
I'd rather pay a monthly fee for something I get value from daily. I would consider using a hosted service depending who the company is. I still don't fully trust Intuit with Mint.
