Interesting. Could there be a more privacy-friendly protocol involving cryptography? The Zcash cryptocurrency managed to hide transactions with zero knowledge proofs for example. It also reminds me of some cryptocurrency who asks other nodes about a bloomfilter of data, allowing them to receive what they want but more stuff to hide the real request.
