Thanks to the money Apple, Google, IBM, Microsoft, Red-Hat, Intel, Cray, SGI, ARM, HP, Sony, Nintendo, AMD, NVidia, TI,CodePlay... put into ISO work, developer conferences, gcc/clang and their own compilers.
