I set mine to Ctrl-Space, but the most frequently used commands are bound to alt+something so I can keep some consistency between tmux on windows at work and i3 at home. The gneral theme of bindings is Ctrl for apps, Alt for the WM, Windows key for the OS, this works well even when the WM and the OS are the same.
