In that case they could just pay some reputable experts to consider it. They would pay anonymously, of course.


I think you're seriously underestimating how insular this community is. The phenomenon you're describing really just doesn't happen. You build a reputation among cryptographers and build to the point where your designs are seriously considered as standards.


Yes I probably am. The reputation shortcut seems to have worked for the community so far, so anonymous crypto designers don't really have anything to complain about.
